IJN midget submarine "Kairyu" late version
Kairyu late version was a submarine for suicide missions. 600kg explosive was put in the bow. After it had launched torpedo, it deliberately crashed onto an enemy warship.
On Ajiro bay, Shizuoka 1945, this Kairyu was attacked by the U.S. bomber and damaged the boat tail, and sank. It was salvaged on May 27, 1978.
